We provide comprehensive fabrication and CNC machining solutions. Serving a range of industries like Rotational Moulding, cycling, marine and many more, across UK and Europe.
ABOUT ROTOSTEEL
Rotational mould toolmakers and multi-axis CNC machining services
We Provide a complete service to the Rotational Moulding Industry from New Tooling, Repairs and Refurbishments in both Steel and Aluminium CNC for many customers across UK and Europe.
We first gained experience with sheet metal and fabrication in the pharmaceutical industry, before moving onto sheet metal tool making which is when the business was registered. We purchased a multi-axis CNC machine in 2023 and now offer tools and services in CNC Aluminium tooling. By combining both disciplines of toolmaking, we can create unique components and bespoke tooling which many workshops would struggle to replicate.
On the back of acquiring the CNC machine, it has opened up to us a range of new customers, taking on one-off projects to fully automated batch production.
We can offer you a service that takes you from just a concept, right through to a quality part or mould tool that not only produces a high standard of product time after time, but is also easy to use for the moulding operator.
You will benefit from a highly skilled, multi-discipline workforce with decades worth of sheet metal fabrication skills and CNC machining to suit a range of industries.

Frequently asked questions
What services do you provide?
We offer a complete roto mould manufacturing and servicing for both steel and aluminium CNC tooling, also fabrication and CNC machining services. This includes 3D CAD design, one-off fabrication, and CNC machined parts to batch production runs in a wide range of materials.
What are the primary materials for rotomoulding tools?
How much do Roto Mould tools cost?
Each tool is priced individually, the bigger and more complex it is, the more it will cost. Generally steel tooling is cheaper than aluminium CNC tooling.
What do I need to do to get a price for tooling?
Generally, it is better to include a moulder when pricing up for tooling. We can work from initial thoughts on a piece of paper, engineering drawings, but a CAD model is always preferred
Can I incorporate textures and graphics?
Yes, roto moulding allows for detailed textures, logos, and graphics directly moulded into the part, often achieved through shot blasting or chemically etching the tool surface.
Can I have a logo or design moulded on the tooling?
Yes, logos and designs can either be engraved or embossed on roto mould tooling.
What surface finish can I have on the tooling?
Steel tools are usually polished or sand blasted, they cannot be shot peened. Aluminium CNC tools can have a shot peened finish which will leave a textured finish on your product.
How long will the tooling last?
Steel tooling could be expected to produce between 5000 – 10000 products with some refurbishment before the tool needs replacing.
Aluminium CNC could be expected to produce between 30000 – 50000 products with some refurbishment before the tool needs replacing.
